G - FORCE

Thulani Glen Mphoreng (the person) was born in Vosman, a township in Witbank (Coal City) Mpumalanga. I spent the first 9 years of my life in Vosman before permanently relocating to Phola, a small township 30km away from Witbank.

Now moving on to G-FORCE (the alter ego).

Me, myself and My Third Eye got introduced to the unearthly power of G-FORCE more than a decade ago, back in 2004. I caught the incurable Hip Hop-isis Virus (HHV) when I first heard Eminem's The Eminem Show and 50 Cent's Get Rich or Die Tryin'. For my first diagnosis, I thought it was just one of those seasonal illnesses, but boy oh boy was I wrong, wrong with a capital W. Before I knew it I had unconsciously started kicking freestyles to myself, and I'd do it almost everywhere. I'd do it whilst washing the dishes, cleaning the house, bathing and even in my dreams. At home they started thinking I had gone cuckoo from some potent voodoo. I'd freestyled to everything, house tunes, gospel melodies, umbhacanga, jazz, maskanti and even classic music. A year later I wrote a track titled G-FORCE to the American Psycho beat by D-12, kicked it to a cousin of mine who was, at the time, affiliated with the Phola battle scene. He introduced me to the battle circuit and I soon started skinning kats and bulldozing any adversary. The moniker G-FORCE soon became synonymous with the words Hardcore, Raw, Deadly and Conscious, and those who couldn't fathom my deep raps fell in love with my hypnotic flow. In 2008 I went to further my education in J-Section. Wits University introduced me to a whole new level of underground Hip Hop. I joined forces with a movement of like-minded, diverse, underground, super lyricists where we would kill ciphers for hours without even taking breaks to fart or burp. Later that year I hooked up with Genius/Lowkey/i-Lead, the genius behind most of my beats, let me not get into our history because it stretches as long as the river Nile. In a nutshell, my recording days commence with him. After I had conquered the academic adversities of Wits University I got back to the Coal City for industrial slavery and to commence enrolling my grand musical plan.

Well, now I live a life of a sage, writing passages of wisdom on pages and delivering them to the masses on stages. My plan as an artist is simple, I plan to perpetually rape the minds of native Afrikans with the truth embedded in my music until they mentally awaken from their long and detrimental slumber. We are and have always been proud slaves on our home soil and no one, not even the mainstream kats, is brave enough to address this truth because most people are puppets on strings used by "The Man" to further derail the already derailed train of thought of the native people. So to combat this, I'll shove my music down my people's throats until they choke on the truth and finally wake up.

Obviously I'll dish out musical diversity, I won't be that stagnant dude, I'm too crazy and dynamic to be rigid minded. But the Realness shall be the only consistency in my music.

The Force of G-FORCE will be felt, mark my words. I'm as serious as a heart attack about this.
Now that you know who I am, what I'm about and all of that, let there be Peace in the East and let real music prevail. Word.
